Azucar is perhaps the best kept secret as far as food goes in the Malpais, Santa Teresa area. Cuban master chef Norbis wins the prize for best sauces, best hamburger, and best ice cream on the peninsula. A true food artist, ask Norbis to make a "chef's choice" dish... something off the menu, and he'll do something incredible if he has the time. Try the fish with avacado sauce. This is as good as food gets, and very affordable.

This place is a hidden oasis of tranquility behind the main road, hence there will be no dust.
The food is spectacular, we had a seared tuna steak with ginger sauce cooked to perfection and shrimps in coconut and curry sauce. Frankly the chef knows his cooking
